TOPIC ANNOUNCEMENT: 12-04-2006

Happy Birthday, Jay-Z? Product of Reaganomics, but not an 80's baby.

Greetings, QLAQsters. It's been a while, it's been a while.

Black Friday came and went. A few of us almost got Xbox360's for $100. Then Amazon.com crashed. Easy come, easy go. Our wallets/accounts are about to become real empty, if they already aren't. Gift guides are everywhere, but they usually only showcase one side of the equation. Here at QLAQ, we like to be 'fair and balanced' (ha!), so we want to give that other side some time to shine.

There's a war going on outside, no man is safe from. I'm not talking about Iraq ("I don't know no insurgents."), I'm talking about the war between good and bad gifts. We've all had a pretty broad spectrum of gifts by this point in our lives. Does it get any better? Who knows. If it doesn't, then it's probably your fault for being close to the same old tired ass folks that you hang with that don't give no good gifts.

So, in light of them, or rather because of them, behold, the new QLAQ topic:

1) Best Xmas gift ever received
2) Worse Xmas gifts evar received

*note: you can substitute in any other holiday you celebrate in place of Xmas, such as Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc.

Time to fire up the Charlie Brown dvd.
